Raptors swept on second day of UVC Crossover

Bard junior Henry Kasiske had 69 assists over the weekend, but Bard was swept at a UVC Crossover in Buffalo.
Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 BUFFALO, N.Y. - The Bard College men's volleyball team lost to No. 5 Nazareth and Penn State-Behrend on the second day of a United Volleyball Conference Crossover hosted by Medaille College.

In the first match of the day, Nazareth defeated Bard, 3-0, by set scores of 25-17, 25-22 and 25-20. Bard hit .316 in the first set, but Nazareth hit .706, and that set the tone for the match.

For Bard, Billy Williams had 10 kills, five digs and a solo block, and Henry Kasiske had 18 assists.

In the second match of the day, Penn State-Behrend defeated Bard, 3-0, by set scores of 25-12, 25-13 and 25-14. Kasiske, Williams, Kai Bernier-Chen and Zack Nussdorf each had four kills, Kasiske had 13 assists, and Bernier-Chen and Daniel Gagne had five digs apiece.

The Raptors are 1-9 overall and 0-4 in the UVC. Next up is a road match against seventh-ranked NYU on Thursday at 7 p.m.
