Women's volleyball team downed by SUNY Cobleskill

Bard sophomore Tytravia Riley had 11 kills, but Bard lost to SUNY Cobleskill 3-1 on Wednesday night.
Box Score ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - The Bard College women's volleyball team lost to SUNY Cobleskill, 3-1, in a non-league match on Wednesday night.

Set scores for the winners were 25-21, 21-25, 25-18 and 25-13.

Bard (2-15) jumped out to a lead in the first set, and it got as big as 19-13. But Cobleskill (6-10) rallied to take the set, 25-21.

The Raptors responded by taking the second set by the same score. Tiffany Leung had four of her five kills in the second set.

It was 16-16 in the third set before the Fighting Tigers pulled away, and the fourth set wasn't close.

Cobleskill got a big night from senior Amber Baker (Caroga Lake, NY), who had 14 kills, six aces and 13 digs. Katie Yang (Schenectady, NY) added 15 assists and 15 digs.

Tytravia Riley led Bard with 11 kills, and Mai Aurell-Foulser added six kills. Lexi Cooper had 20 assists, Daniella Azulai had 14 digs, and Amy Kassowitz added 10 digs.

Bard will next host a six-team Liberty League event on Friday. The Raptors will play Union College at 4 p.m. and St. Lawrence University at 8 p.m.
