St. Lawrence's long-distance shooting does in Raptors

Sophomore Siondueh Burnette led Bard with 20 points, but the Raptors lost to St. Lawrence, 75-60.
Box Score CANTON, N.Y. - The Bard College men's basketball team made numerous attempts to close the gap against St. Lawrence on Saturday.

They cut an eight-point halftime deficit to six in the first minute of the second half. The Saints responded with a three-pointer.

Four minutes later, Bard cut the deficit to eight. St. Lawrence hit another three-pointer.

Two minutes later, Bard cut it to seven. You can guess what happened next.

That's the way the game went, as St. Lawrence made 11-of-21 three-pointers, including 7-of-11 in the second half, en route to a 75-60 Liberty League win over the Raptors.

Bard (4-8, 1-4 Liberty League) had its best shooting game of the season (52.1%), but St. Lawrence's three-point percentage (52.4%) provided a deflating difference in the game that Bard couldn't overcome.

Brady Condlin (Massena,NY) led the Saints with 19 points (4-for-5 from 3), followed by Kyle Miller (Center Square, NY), who had 18 points (4-for-9 from 3.)

Sophomore Siondueh Burnette led Bard with 20 points. Senior Frank Stortini added nine points and eight rebounds, while Jeremy Arnstein, Lamar Powell and Chris McNaughton added seven points apiece.
