Women's volleyball team loses, 3-2, to Suffolk

Mai Aurell-Foulser had five kills and 18 digs, but Bard lost to Suffolk, 3-2, on Friday night.
Box Score BROOKLINE, Mass. - The Bard College women's volleyball lost it's second five-set match of the young season on Friday night at the David Hildebrandt Invitational, hosted by Newbury College.

Suffolk University edged Bard 25-14, 25-27, 22-25, 25-13 and 15-11.

Freshman Tytravia Riley led Bard with 12 kills, while Cara Chalk and Amy Kassowitz added six kills apiece. Lexi Cooper led the team with 29 assists, and Mai Aurell-Foulser contributed five kills and a team-high 18 digs. Ruth Lakew chipped in with 15 digs, and Maria Hoz had 10.

Suffolk is 3-3.

Bard, 0-3, will play two matches on Saturday as part of this tournament. The Raptors will take on Johnson State at 1 and host Newbury at 3.
