Box Score ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - The Bard College women's volleyball team lost to Sage, 3-0, in a non-league match on Wednesday night.

Sage is 8-0, the best start in the 41-year history of the program. Sets scores were 25-15, 25-17 and 25-20.

Bard (2-3) had opportunities, but Sage managed to pull away in the final third of all three sets. In the first set, Bard fell behind 17-7, cut the lead to 19-15, then saw Sage serve out the set, 25-15.

In the second set, Sage had a 15-13 lead before outscoring Bard 10-4 down the stretch. And in the final set, it was tied 18-18 before Sage pulled away, 25-20.

Bard got 12 kills from freshman Tytravia Riley, 12 assists from sophomore Lexi Cooper, and five digs from sophomore Amy Kassowitz. The Raptors host SUNY Purchase and Bay Path in a tri-meet on Saturday afternoon beginning at 1 p.m.
