ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - The 2012-13 version of Bard College men's tennis made its debut on Wednesday night with a bunch of freshmen in the lineup, and the result was a 7-2 victory over Yeshiva University in a non-league match.

Bard took two of the three doubles matches to start the night off well.
Kevin McDonald and his teammate cruised at No. 1 doubles, while freshmen
Philip Poznansky and
Ted Laport battled and won at No. 2 doubles, 8-6.
Then the Raptors won five of the six singles matches. McDonald, Poznansky and Laport won in straight sets at Nos. 2-4 singles, respectively. Senior
Erik Wallulis won a super-tiebreaker to win at No. 5 singles.
Yeshiva is 0-1.
The men's tennis team won't play again until Tuesday, when the Raptors host Mount Saint Mary College in a non-league match.
