ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - The Bard College men's tennis team narrowly missed picking up its first-ever Liberty League victory on Tuesday night, as the Raptors lost to Union College, 5-4.

The pivotal match came at No. 1 singles. A Bard freshman won the first set over Union junior Dan Nault, 6-0, but Nault rallied and won the final two sets, 6-2 and 6-1.
The Raptors, 4-5 overall and 0-3 in the Liberty League, got singles victories from
Kevin McDonald at No. 3,
Joel Richmond at No. 5 and
Dashiell Flach at No. 6. McDonald and Flach teamed to win at No. 3 doubles.
Up next for the Raptors is a non-league match at Western Connecticut State University on Thursday at 4 p.m.
