ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - The Bard College men's tennis team returned to the courts for the first time this spring and lost to SUNY Purchase, 7-2, in a non-league match.

Bard's victories came at No. 3 singles and No. 4 singles. Brian Bollman topped Roger King at No. 3 singles, 6-2, 6-1, and Joel Richmond bested Max Luiggi at No. 4 singles, 6-0, 6-3.

SUNY Purchase (1-1) swept the three doubles matches. At No. 1 doubles, Brendan Keeling and Roger King edged Brian Bollman and co., 8-6.

Bard, 1-3, next plays at Brooklyn College next Saturday at 1 p.m.
