Bard lost to Sarah Lawrence College, 3-0, then topped University of St. Joseph, 3-1.

In the opener, Sarah Lawrence prevailed 25-23, 25-15 and 27-25. Cara Chalk led Bard with nine kills, Lexi Cooper had 26 assists, and Fiona Do Thi had eight digs. Sarah Lawrence is 14-12.

In the second match of the day, University of St. Joseph edged Sarah Lawrence in five sets.

In the final match, Bard topped University of St. Joseph by set scores of 22-25, 25-21, 25-22 and 25-15. Tytravia Riley had a team-high 12 kills, while Chalk and Mai Aurell-Foulser had nine apiece. Cooper had 39 assists and Ruth Lakew finished with eight digs. University of St. Joseph is 6-20.

Bard (6-19) had three matches left. Up next is a non-league contest at Mount Saint Mary College on Tuesday. The season will conclude with a tri-match against Rutgers-Camden and Old Westbury at home on Saturday.
