Women's volleyball swept at Sage

Sophomore Mai Aurell-Foulser had four kills and six digs in a loss to Sage on Tuesday night.
ALBANY, N.Y. - The Bard College women's volleyball team was swept at Sage on Tuesday night, 3-0, by scores of 25-15, 25-14 and 25-16.

Bard (1-1) produced 21 kills as a team to Sage's 34 and hit just .197 for the match.

The Raptors got 12 assists and four digs from freshman Lexi Cooper, six kills from junior Cara Chalk, and four kills and six digs from sophomore Mai Aurell-Foulser.

Sage (2-3) got a double-double from freshman outside hitter Helen Putriment (Victory Falls, NY), who had 12 kills and 10 digs.

Bard will face Sage again on Saturday as part of the Newbury College Tournament. The Raptors will play Johnson State and Sage on Friday, then Lasell and Newbury on Saturday.
