ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - The Bard College men's tennis team was defeated by SUNY Purchase, 9-0, on Wednesday night in a Skyline Conference match.

It was Bard's seventh straight loss. The Raptors finish up the season with a non-conference match on Tuesday at home against Western Connecticut State University.

On Wednesday, all but one of the singles matches was over in straight sets. At No. 2 singles, junior Joel Richmond (New Hartford, N.Y.) rallied after losing the first set to Roger King, 6-2, and won the second set, 6-0. But he lost the tiebreaker, 10-6.

Bard finishes the Skyline portion of its schedule at 1-6. The Raptors are 2-9 overall.
