PATCHOGUE, N.Y. - The Bard College women's volleyball team was swept in a dual meet at St. Joseph's College on Saturday.
The Raptors first played Skyline Conference frontrunner Farmingdale State and lost, 3-0, by scores of 25-14, 25-19 and 25-22. In that match, junior
Rachel Van Horn (Lawrence, KS) had four kills, an ace and 10 digs. Sophomore
Amaya Chenu (Washington, DC) led the team with seven kills.
Later, Bard fell to host St. Joseph's College, 3-0, by scores of 25-13, 25-20 and 25-12. Van Horn contributed seven kills, three aces and six digs; Sophomore
Fiona Do Thi (Warsaw, Poland) added nine assists and four digs.
Bard, 0-3 in the Skyline Conference and 4-6 overall, hosts Sage on Wednesday at home at 7 p.m.
