PURCHASE, N.Y. - The Bard College men's tennis team was defeated by SUNY Purchase, 8-1, on Saturday.

Sophomore Michael Allen (Belmont, MA) won at No. 1 singles for Bard in straight sets. Purchase won the rest of the matches in straight sets.

Purchase is 4-1 in the Skyline Conference and 5-4 overall.

Bard is 1-5 both in the Skyline and overall.
