Johnson starts her first season as the Director of Sport Performance & Head Athletic Trainer after being promoted to the position in August 2025. She has been part of the Sports Medicine staff since Fall 2023 and will be in her third season.
She was a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at SUNY Brockport, concurrently earning her master’s degree in Athletic Training from SUNY Plattsburgh.
At Brockport, Johnson worked closely with coaches and student-athletes in several Division III sports for the Golden Eagles. She also worked as a preceptor for the master’s program, and also served as a per diem AT at Division II Roberts Wesleyan University.
A graduate of Brockport, Johnson earned her bachelors in Athletic Training and was also honored with the Clinical Experience Award from the department. She was a member of the Brockport women’s rugby team and served as a captain of the club for two years. She earned her Master’s Degree in Athletic Training from SUNY Plattsburgh in 2023.
