Andy Salvatore is in his 13th season at Bard College for the 2025-26 academic year. Salvatore was promoted to Associate Athletic Director in August 2024. He is also the Director of Recruiting and will be in his fourth season as the Director.Â
Salvatore works closely with ARI Athletics. ARI Athletics is a sophisticated technology solution that enhances the efficiency and effectiveness of recruiting and managing collegiate student-athletes. The real-time integration with Slate provided by ARI has enabled Bard College's admissions and athletics teams to share data seamlessly, communicate more effectively, and make more informed decisions.
In addition to his role as assistant athletic director of recruiting, he has been the head baseball coach for eight seasons.Â
Before Bard, Salvatore was an assistant coach at Oswego State University for three seasons. During his time in that role, the team had the highest GPA for any men's team at the school, and in 2012, they doubled their number of conference wins from the previous two seasons.
Andy is a graduate of Oswego State and received a Bachelor's Degree in Childhood Education with a minor in Athletic Coaching. While a player at Oswego State, he was part of the ECAC Championship team in 2010, and won the 2010 Oswego Dan Dalbis Memorial Award.
