Poll is in his third season as the Assistant Men’s & Women’s Tennis Coach and Assistant Sports Information Director in 2026-27.
In his second season for the tennis team, he helped coach six Liberty League All-Academic Honorees, including five Div. III Academic All-District Honorees. He also helped coach six players who earned weekly awards from the Liberty League a total of eight times during the season.
In his first season for the tennis team, he helped coach five Liberty League All-Academic Honorees, including four Div. III Academic All-District Honorees. He also helped coach three players who earned Liberty League Honor Roll recognition a total of four times during the season.
In his role in the sports information department, he has provided play-by-play commentary, served as the public address announcer, taken photos, recorded stats, and managed the live stream for home events. He has also updated player and staff bios, written post-game recaps, and created graphics for social media.
Poll comes to Bard from Williams College, where he worked as a student worker for the sports information department for three years.
During his time as a student worker at Williams, Poll compiled videos for teams, provided broadcast commentary for sports such as softball, basketball, soccer, and ice hockey, and took action pictures for several sports. He also wrote post-game recaps for multiple sports, such as basketball and field hockey. While studying abroad, he was a writer and editor for LSE's school newspaper, The Beaver, writing for the sports section.
He coached tennis for Towanda High School during the summer and played for the Williams Club tennis team.
Poll graduated with a Bachelor's degree in mathematics and economics.
