Aaron Morrill joined the Men's Basketball Coaching Staff on July 1st.
Morrill earned both a Bachelor of Arts in Data Science and a Master of Public Health from Columbia University. He also concurrently earned dual degrees from the neighboring Jewish Theological Seminary of America in Jewish Thought as an undergraduate and Jewish Ethics as a master's student.
His coaching experience includes positions at Nichols College and MCIB AAU Club, where he has worked extensively in player development, scouting, recruiting, and program growth.
He most recently served as an Assistant Men's Basketball Coach at Nichols College, where he worked under Head Coach Tyler Hundley during the 2025-26 season. Morrill helped guide the program to a Conference of New England semifinal appearance and a 15-12 overall record. The team earned notable victories over conference champions from both the NESCAC and GNAC while producing two All-Conference selections.
At Nichols, he assisted with practice planning, game preparation, scouting reports, player development sessions, and in-game coaching. He also led the program's statistical analysis efforts and played a key role in recruiting.
In addition to his collegiate coaching responsibilities, Morrill served as Head Coach for MCIB, an AAU club based in Newton, MA for the last three years. He oversaw player development and practice planning across multiple age groups while serving as the head coach for the program's varsity and 10th-grade teams.
Morrill spent the 2019-2020 season with the men's basketball program at Columbia University as Head Team Manager, before the 2020-2021 Ivy League season was cancelled due to Covid-19. In that role, he managed practice and game-day logistics, assisted with statistical tracking, compiled recruiting materials, and conducted research projects surrounding player development, transfer portal, and team strategy.
