Aidan Kiernan was named the Assistant Coach of the Cross Country and Track & Field Programs in August 2026
Kiernan is a former Track & Field athlete for Gettysburg College, specializing in the 60m, 100m, and 200m sprints. He graduated in 2025 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences with a minor in Business.
His coaching experience includes positions with the University of Bridgeport and Pelham High School.
At the University of Bridgeport, Kiernan coached short sprint, long sprint, and relay athletes, collaborated with coaching staff on practice planning, meet preparation, and travel logistics, and analyzed athlete performance using Kinovea film analysis. He also served as Conference Representative on the USTFCCCA Division II Executive Committee.
At Pelham High School, he coached sprints, hurdles, jumps, and throws, monitored athlete workload, and supported program development through athlete evaluation. He also worked with the Rugby team, designing and leading youth training programs, developing programming focused on long-term athlete development, and implementing structured strength and conditioning sessions.
