Camp Director
Coach Mandy Gamble is in her debut season at Bard. Prior to Bard, Coach Mandy spent three seasons as the Head Women's Tennis Coach at Hamilton College. Under Coach Mandy’s leadership the women's team qualified for back-to-back New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) playoff appearances during her last two seasons. Before Hamilton, Gamble coached at The California Institute of Technology (Caltech), holding the position of Head Men's and Women's Tennis Coach from 2001 to 2018 before focusing solely on the women's team from 2018-22. She received the men's tennis coaching staff of the year award from the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) in 2016 and 2018, and she was named the U.S. Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) Southern California section's college coach of the year in 2016. Coach Mandy has her USTA High-Performance Coaching certification as well as a Strength and Conditioning certification. During her tennis career at Division II Cal State Los Angeles, she was an academic all-American and a member of the all-conference team.
