ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. – The Bard College Department of Athletics and Recreation held its Athletic Awards Banquet on Tuesday night, with many students earning department honors for their seasons and careers as a Raptor. 

The event was hosted by Head Men's and Women's Swimming Coach, John Weitz, who began the night by introducing Director of Athletics and Recreation, Stefanie Carrington, who said a few words to congratulate the students and teams on their performances over the last year.

In addition to Carrington, Alumni Speaker Kaylynn Hawke '18 also said a few words, and then Weitz turned the stage over to the student-athletes, who presented each of the Program Awards given out on Tuesday evening. Staff from inside and outside the athletic department presented other awards, and Mahlia Slaiby and Sebastian Matz gave the SAAC award to Malik Walfall, who has supported student-athletes day in and day out every year.
