Essa Kyaw and Snow Queen named to the 2025-26 All-Liberty League Honorable Mention Team

First time in program history

ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. – The Bard College women's squash team picked up two awards for the first time in program history on Wednesday as the league office announced the 2025-26 All-Liberty League teams.

Essa Kyaw was a fixture at the no. 5 and no. 6 ladders and made one appearance at the no. 4 ladder for the Raptors, with notable wins over Vassar (x3), Wellesley (x2), Smith (x2), Mount Holyoke (x2), and Fordham. "I'm very happy that Essa is getting recognition for an incredible first season.

Snow Queen was a mainstay at the no. 4, no. 5, and no. 6 ladders, earning a win at each position. Her best record was at the no. 5 ladder, where she went 7-2. Overall, Queen went 10-7, including a 2-1 record at the Liberty League Championship.

"I'm so happy for Essa and Snow. It's great for them to get some recognition for the hard work and dedication they put in to the season. I'm delighted that the rest of the league got to see what I saw every match and practice," said head coach Jack Smith.
