Day 3 RECAP: Swimming improves relay times at the Liberty League Championships

The Bard College swimming team continued competition on the third day of the Liberty League Championships held at Ithaca. Prelims occurred in the morning. The best result came in the men's 100 backstroke "C" final, in which Nate Dower finished second.

Dower was the only Raptor to compete in a single event during the morning's prelims. He finished with a 58.80 time to qualify for the "C" finals. 

During the evening finals, Bard had a team swim the 200 medley relay and the 800 free relay. 

The quartet of Yolanda Liu, Zlata Paslon, Maya Farwell, and Maya Remick swam the 800 freestyle relay in under 10 minutes with a time of 9:57.20. 

The Raptors return tomorrow for the final day of the championship with the 100 free, 200 Backstroke, 200 Breaststroke, and the 1650 Free preliminary at 10 AM.
