The Bard College men's and women's swimming teams matched up against Vassar, Hartwick, SUNY Delhi, and Skidmore, with the women also competing against Mount Holyoke on Saturday afternoon. The women placed sixth, while the men placed fifth.

On the men's side, Reece Sherf raced in the 400 yard IM for the first time, recording a 5:19.45. He also clocked a 58.88 in the 100 yard freestyle. Nate Dower logged a 57.26 in the 100 yard butterfly, then a 25.63 in the 50 yard butterfly. His day culminated in the 100 yard IM, where he delivered a PR by more than a second, 58.75. Benett Hathaway turned in a 27.43 time in the 50 yard freestyle, and he raced a 1:02.50 in the 100 yard freestyle. 

For the women, Morgan Grabowski hit the water in the 500 yard freestyle, the 50 yard freestyle, and the 100 yard freestyle. She put together solid performances in all three, placing above 16 competitors in total. Maya Remick had a personal best time of 30.21 in the 50 yard freestyle, and she also swam in the 100 yard freestyle and the 100 yard breaststroke. 

Next up – the Liberty League Championship in Ithaca from Feb 18 to 21.
