WAYNE, NJ — The Bard College men's and women's swimming teams swam its final dual meet of the year versus the William Paterson Pioneers, winning four races. The men dropped the meeting 58-107, while the women were bested 18-144. 

Reece Sherf PR'ed in the 100 yard IM, swimming a race-winning 1:05.79. He also swam a personal best in the 100 yard breaststroke, notching a time of 1:13.03 — just under three seconds faster than his previous best. Nate Dower picked up a pair of wins in the 200 yard freestyle and the 100 yard butterfly. Hal Beatty showcased his distance prowess, winning the 1000 yard freestyle. Benett Hathaway and Cooper Andrews continued to race in the 50 yard freestyle and the 100 yard freestyle. 

The women's team continued to work hard, with two second-place finishes by Yolanda Liu headlining the performances. Zlata Paslon and Rose Rahimi both raced in the 50 yard freestyle and the 100 yard freestyle. Paslon's time of 34.16 placed her third in the 50 yard freestyle, while her mark of 1:19.20 garnered her a third-place spot in the 100 yard freestyle.

Bard will race in the Vassar Sprint Invitational next Saturday at 1 p.m.
