RECAP: Women’s Squash’s Seven-Match Win Streak Snapped at Dickinson

The Bard College women's squash team's seven-match win streak was snapped against the Dickinson Red Devils on Friday afternoon, 0-9.

Catherine Chapel played at the no. 1 ladder, getting six points. Essa Kyaw played well at the no. 5 ladder, getting six points in the third game and ten overall. Nioby Rodriguez won nine points at the no. 3 ladder. 

Catalyna Contreras-Araya played at the no. 7 ladder, earning eight points across the final two games. She also played an exhibition at the no. 9 ladder, and collected a game win there. She earned the third game, 11-9, and won 37 total points at the nine spot. Najla Nazari collected 13 points at the no. 6 ladder, all in the final two games. She also played an exhibition at the no. 8 ladder, extending two games and winning 29 points. 

Bard faces Chatham on Sunday at noon.
