RECAP: Cross Country hosts the Fred Pavlich Invitational

Men and Women each had two runners finish Top 30

ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. – The Bard College cross country team hosted its annual Fred Pavlich Invitational at Montgomery Place on Saturday morning. The Raptors competed against over 23 other schools. 

On the women's side, Anna Shtandenko and Emma St. Peter ran under 30 minutes, finishing in 26th and 27th place. The 6K race is the first time for Shtandenko, Alex Laskowski, Malena Martinez and Kai Roper

On the men's side, two Raptors finished in the Top 30: Elijah Flynn and Bo Hopwood. Flynn was just a minute off his personal best time, while Hopwood was just 40 seconds off his personal best time. It was Johnny Henriquez and Ian Zhao's first time running the invitational. 

Bard will travel to Keene State for its next race on October 4.
