Freddy Coronel and
Olivia Dower both qualified for the 200 butterfly on the third day of the Liberty League Championships.
Coronel finished third in the "C" final, while Dower finished eighth. Dower was close to beating her personal best time of 2:28.05 during the preliminary with a time of 2:28.09.
Jose Rivera Corujo swam his first 100 breaststroke, while
Owen O'Reilly and
Roma Taitwood each shaved nearly two seconds off their personal best time.
The women's team added more points for Bard as the quartet of Dower,
Julia Pelletier,
Maya Farwell and
Mary Mendez swam the 800 free relay that gave the Raptors 34 points. Mendez, Taitwood, Dower and Farwell swam the 200 medley relay in the morning and their time of 2:05.36 was enough to give the Raptors another 34 points.
The Raptors will be back tomorrow for the last day of the championships with the 100 free, 200 backstroke, 200 breaststroke, 1650 free and 400 free relay.
