The Bard College women's squash team defeated all four teams they faced at the Vassar Round Robin on Saturday to go 5-1 this season, the most wins in program history. 

Bard had a long day of matches, with back to back competitions in the morning against Wellesley and Smith. The Raptors defeated Wellesley 8-1 and then Smith 9-0. Against Wellesley, the Raptors were tested in ladder four and nine with Nioby Rodriguez and Catalyna Contreras-Araya winning their matches in four games. Against Smith, Bard was a well oiled machine as all eight ladders won their matches in straight games. 

In the later part of the day, Bard faced Mount Holyoke and Vassar. Bard defeated Mount Holyoke 5-4, with Tee Williams clinching the match for the Raptors. Hanna Okalava and Catherine Chapel both challenged their opponents and went to five games with their opponents at ladder 2 and 3 but were unable to get the victory. 

In the rematch against Vassar, Bard needed three wins to secure the win as Vassar defaulted ladder 8 and 9 to the Raptors. Snow Queen redeemed herself after falling against Vassar two weeks ago. Queen, playing at ladder five this time, won in straight games, 11-7, 11-1, 11-4. 
Bard's 5-1 record is its best record in program history and it's the first time in program history that they have won all four matches in a round robin day. 

The Raptors will host Smith, Wellesley and Fordham on Nov. 22 for their home opener round robin. The first match is against Smith at 10 a.m.
