ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. – The Bard College men's squash team hosted the Bard Round Robin, taking on Siena, Clark, and Brandeis on Saturday. Miguel Rodriguez Robles made headlines at ladder 1, defeating all of his opponents. The Raptors fell 8-1 against Siena and Clark, and 7-1 against Brandeis. 

The Raptors had an early start, taking on Siena in the morning. Julian Koulish and Desmond Lee had their first collegiate match of the season. In ladder 1, Miguel Rodriguez Robles played through rhythm and defeated his opponent in straight games. Jake Petersen won the first game at ladder 2, but his opponent changed his style of play and took the next three games. 

Leo Wainberg-Wolski battled hard in his match and even had a game point in game 2, but was unable to close out the game. Koulish played in ladder 4 and won four or more points in each game. Alex Halna du Fretay had a slow start in the first game, but picked up points in the second and third games. In Lee's match, he scored points in all three games. 

Against Clark, Koulish won a game against his opponent, while Rodriguez Robles defeated his opponent in straight games. In the last match of the day, Rodriguez Robles had to work for his win, as he lost the first game, 11-5. The second game was close, as he had to save a game point to defeat his opponent 12-10. He won the third and fourth game, 11-8. Joas Erasmus was able to substitute in for Jake Petersen for ladder 2.
