RECAP: Men’s Soccer falls on the road to Skidmore

The Bard College men's soccer team faced a tough road test on Saturday afternoon, falling 5-0 to Skidmore College in Liberty League play at Wachenheim Field.

The Thoroughbreds set the tone early, striking just seven minutes into the match. Skidmore doubled the lead in the 17th minute. The hosts made it 3–0 before halftime. In the second half, Skidmore added to its advantage with two more goals in quick succession.

Bard generated some offensive opportunities throughout the match, recording 10 shots—seven of them on target—but couldn't break through against Skidmore's defense. Emmett Olson and Frankie Perera-Modica each had two shots.

Jake Sudit and Gavin Hersey combined for four saves, while Skidmore held a 5–1 edge in corner kicks and a 14–10 advantage in total shots.

Bard will be back at home on Wednesday when they take on Union at 7 p.m.
