The Bard College swimming team participated in a tri-meet at Purchase on Tuesday night. The men won 75-45 against Purchase, while the women were close to the win, 75-83 against Purchase. Hunter scored 106 to Bard's 64 in that matchup.

The women won six races, while the men won seven to clinch their victory.

Bard won the 200-yard medley relay by more than 47 seconds. Hal Beatty won the 100-yard freestyle by 2.51 seconds; Cooper Andrews bested his previous time in that same race (1:28.26). Nate Dower had a personal best 50-yard freestyle in the win. Reece Sherf raced his fastest 200-yard freestyle. Sherf also tried his hand in the 100-yard butterfly for the first time. 

On the women's side, the foursome of Mary Mendez, Olivia Dower, Sophie Levy, and Maya Farwell won the 200-yard medley relay. Sophie Levy took first place in the 200-yard IM, recording a new personal best. Dower took a second win in the 100-yard butterfly, while Farwell had three wins total with 50-yard freestyle and 100-yard freestyle victories. Dower had a personal best time while finishing second in the 100-yard breaststroke. Vera Topsik raced in her first 200-yard freestyle and swam a personal best 1:22.42 in the 100-yard freestyle.

The Raptors will face the Skidmore Thoroughbreds on Saturday, February 1 at 1 p.m. in Saratoga Springs next.
