Gallery: (9-6-2024) XC at New Paltz Invitational
The Bard College cross-country team finished second at the New Paltz Invitational, just behind the host school.
Emma St. Peter led the women's team in the 5K, finishing in the top 8 at 22:34.7, while
Sadie Torre finished 12th at 23:19.5, just 19 seconds off their personal best in the 5K.
Odille Zexter-Kaiser and
Violet DiBiasio each matched their 5K time, with Zexter-Kaiser finishing with a time of 24:16.9 and DiBiasio finishing with a time of 28:04.2.
Madeline Clark and
J'adora Lively both ran their first 5K event.
On the men's side,
Able Bloodgood set the pace with an 8th-place finish and a new personal best in the 6K with a time of 23:39.9.
Joshua Schwartz finished 16th with a time of 27:45.9. Charles Grenadier,
Ilyas Hotak and
Max Schultz all ran their first 8K event.
Bard will head to Vassar for the Ron Stonitsch Invitational next Saturday, September 14.
