The Bard College cross country team competed at the Vassar Season Opener on Friday night to start their season. 

The Raptors debuted seven runners at the meet, and both teams finished 6th. First-year Emma St. Peter led the women's team with a time of 13:11.3, followed by junior Samantha Simon, who was just two seconds behind. On the men's side, senior Able Bloodgood led the team with a personal best of 14:57.6, bettering his 15:31.0 best from last season. 

Bard will be back in action next Friday for the New Paltz Invitational at 5 p.m.
