The Bard College women's basketball team battled against Skidmore on Saturday afternoon in Saratoga but dropped the contest 65-38.
The first-year duo of
Lexi Miller and
Erin Tobes combined for 26 of the 38 Raptors points, with Miller nearing another double-double with 15 points and nine rebounds. Tobes hit a career-high 11 points and added four rebounds and two assists.
The Raptors had a strong showing in the first half and were only down by 11 points at halftime. They kept within reach early in the second half prior to Skidmore increasing their offensive play in the third quarter when they scored 19 points en route to their victory.
The Raptors will be back at home next weekend for their last two home games of the year. Bard will face RPI on Friday at 5:30 p.m. and will host the Inclusive Excellence Night game as part of Bard Athletics Black History Month celebration.
