The Bard women's basketball team had a strong first quarter but the effort was not enough to push the Raptors against Ithaca on Friday night.
In the first quarter, Bard was only down by four points with less than three minutes left, and by the end of the quarter, Bard was down by eight. Sophomore
Shirley Dong led the team with 15 points, shooting 4-of-8 from the three-point range. Senior
Jade Dinkins led the team with four rebounds and added two assists and a steal. First-years
Jessica Martin and
Aislynn Dixon had six points each, with Martin shooting 2-of-4 from behind the arc.
Bard will travel to RIT tomorrow for a 2 p.m. tip-off to conclude its season.
