ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. – The Bard College swim team faced off against Delhi in Stevenson Athletic Center on Friday evening. The women won 124-19, and the men took a photo finish 72-68.

Nate Dower, Yolanda Liu, Mary Mendez, and Sophie Levy all won races contested by Delhi. 

The Raptors showcased their steady improvement, with five swimmers recording personal bests. Katelyn Campoverde recorded a personal best in the 200-Yard Freestyle (2:44.02) and was the first leg in the 200-Yard Freestyle Relay that swam its fastest race of the season (2:12.40). 

The Men's 50-Yard Freestyle served as an opportunity for Jose Rivera Corujo (28.29) and Owen O'Reilly (27.92) to record personal records. Rivera Corujo also cut more than a second off his previous fastest time in the 100-Yard Freestyle, clocking in at 1:02.32. O'Reilly followed up his 50-Yard Free performance with a new best performance in the 100-Yard Breaststroke (1:24.30).

Roma Taitwood finished the 100-Yard Breaststroke in a personal best 1:34.60, while Zahra Haidari cut more than 13 seconds off her previous best in the 100-Yard Freestyle.

The Raptors brought in the points from all around the team, from long distance to relays and from newcomers to more experienced swimmers.

Maya Farwell swam in her first race, winning the 100-Yard Freestyle, as she ramped up her swimming training after soccer season ended.

The Raptors move to 3-0 all-time against the Broncos.

The next time the Raptors will be in action it will be in December, as they head to RIT the first weekend after Thanksgiving for the RIT 2-Day Invitational.
