The Bard women's basketball team dropped a 68-51 decision in a Liberty League game against Clarkson on Saturday afternoon.
First-year
Lexi Miller scored a career-high 21 points, shooting 10-of-18 from the floor. Miller added 11 rebounds for her fifth double-double of the season. Classmate
Aislynn Dixon added eight points and four assists with two steals.
Senior
Mae Redmond had seven points and six rebounds, while first-year
Erin Tobes had a career-high six assists. Sophomore
Shirley Dong had six points, three boards and three assists.
The Raptors started off strong in the first quarter and were tied up with Clarkson 21-21. The Golden Knights switched gears in the second and third quarters and held the Raptors to single digits in each session. Bard then outscored Clarkson 15-9 in the fourth quarter, shooting 3-of-7 from three-point range.
Bard will continue their road swing next week as the team visits Vassar on Friday at 5:30 p.m.
