ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. – The Bard women's basketball team battled against the Liberty League's top team on Saturday afternoon, falling 73-35 to Vassar at Stevenson Athletic Center.
The Raptors turned in a strong performance against the Brewers, including scoring 13 points in the fourth quarter. First-year
Lexi Miller had a career day, leading the team with 15 points and 17 rebounds, setting career bests in each category.

Aislynn Dixon added eight points, and on the boards, classmates
Erin Tobes (5) and Ella Perrault (4) helped the Raptors. Tobes and sophomore
Shirley Dong each had three steals.
Vassar jumped out to an early lead and maintained control of the game, but the Raptors hung in and played the Brewers to a tight fourth-quarter. The Brewers maintained their perfect 10-0 record in conference play.
The Raptors will hit the road for the team's next four games, traveling to the North Country next weekend to face St. Lawrence and Clarkson. Bard returns home the weekend of Feb. 9-10, with Senior Day on Saturday, Feb. 10 against William Smith at 2pm.
