ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. – The Bard College women's squash team defeated Smith College before falling to Wellesley College and Northeastern University on Saturday afternoon in the Bard Round Robin.
Bard had a strong performance throughout the ladder, led by
Nicole Meselsohn going 2-1 at the No. 6 spot. Against Smith, Bard was down by 2-0 at the start of the match, with a default win for Smith at no. 8 and no. 9 spot. The Raptors fought hard to win 5-4, with big wins coming from Meselsohn,
Jacinta Creel, Thenuri DeSilva,
Meherin Hossain, and
Tee Williams, who won in five games at the no. 4 spot
Bard will be back in action on December 9 when the team travels to Connecticut College.
