GENEVA, N.Y. - The Bard College women's basketball team lost to William Smith College, 89-47, in a Liberty League game on Tuesday night.
Bard senior
Olivia Couture had a career-high 22 points and also grabbed 12 rebounds, making it her third double-double of the season.
Christina Kiser had 23 points, six rebounds, four assists and two steals.
"Playing on the road is tough, but we made key adjustments and got great contributions from Olivia and Christina," Bard acting head coach
Armando Dunn said. "I thought Olivia played one of her best games of the year. She got her feet set and drove to the basket well."
Bard will wrap up the Liberty League portion of the schedule this weekend at Ithaca (Friday) and RIT (Saturday).
"Our team battled on defense and put pressure on them," Dunn said. "We have to continue to apply that pressure next game. Every game is an opportunity for growth and learning. We are excited to get back at it again with this upcoming road trip to RIT and Ithaca."
