SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. - The Bard College women's basketball team lost to Skidmore College, 73-56, in a Liberty League game on Tuesday night.
Bard senior
Christina Kiser scored 30 points and overtook Tytravia Riley on Bard's all-time list for made free throws in a career, going 15-for-16 from the line. She also grabbed 12 rebounds and handed out five assists.
"
Christina Kiser continues to be the best player on the floor," Bard coach
Casi Donelan said. "She managed to make her teammates better out there while dropping 30. It's remarkable. She's like the Energizer Bunny."
Everyone who played for Bard scored, as the Raptors put together one of their most complete games of the season.
Olivia Couture had eight points and two assists;
Mae Redmond added six points and seven rebounds;
Maggy Peyton had four points, seven rebounds and a block, and
Thalia Grandinetti had four points and five rebounds.
"We had some exciting finishes from
Sarah Child,
Puja Clements and
Maggy Peyton," Donelan said. "This one hurt, but we are excited to be back in the swing of playing games and look forward to hosting Union and Vassar this weekend."
Bard hosts Liberty League foes Union and Vassar on Friday and Saturday, respectively.
