Box Score WEST HARTFORD, Conn. - The Bard College women's basketball team lost to University of St. Joseph, 66-44, in the championship game of the USJ Tip-Off Tournament on Saturday afternoon.

Bard sophomore Thalia Grandinetti had 10 points and 15 rebounds and was named to the All-Tournament Team. Olivia Couture contributed 12 points and five rebounds, while first year Maggy Peyton finished with nine points and nine rebounds.

Senior Christina Kiser left the game early with an injury and didn't return.

"It was tough to see Christina go down early, but our other seniors showed great leadership," Bard coach Casi Donelan said. "And our younger players stepped up with some toughness and got some offensive opportunities."

The Raptors next play at Rhode Island College on Nov. 20.

"Maggy Peyton continues to get better every game," Donelan added, "and Thalia Grandinetti showed her toughness again, earning a spot on the All-Tournament Team."
