UNION, N.J. - The Bard College men's lacrosse team lost to Kean University, 25-5, in a non-league game on Wednesday night.
Kean (2-0) scored three times in the first two minutes, but Bard scored on its first shot when
Michael O'Donnell cashed in from close range off a feed from
Lukas Roscoe to make it 3-1. Bard could get no closer.
The Cougars led 11-1 after one quarter and 20-1 at halftime.
Bard got three goals from senior
Corey Rich, all in the second half. He also had three ground balls and caused a pair of turnovers. Roscoe scored Bard's other goal. O'Donnell and
Chuck Reycroft collected three ground balls apiece, and
Emanuel Grenier-Benoit caused a pair of turnovers.
Lyle Healey made 20 saves.
Kean got three goals and five assists from sophomore Brady Moore (Hopewell, N.J.)
