Sophomore guard
Christina Kiser made a pair of jumpers early, as Bard (5-19, 0-17 LL) battled to a 6-6 score midway through the first quarter. The Herons (14-10, 10-7 LL) then opened things up. Stella Davis (Dublin, N.H.) scored five straight points for William Smith, and the home team followed that up with a 12-4 run to open up a 23-10 lead with six minutes remaining in the second. Bard responded with a 7-2 stretch to close out the half, as freshman forward
Marissa Munsell hit a late three to get things going. Still, the Raptors trailed 29-19 at the intermission.
