ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - The Bard College men's squash team won a pair of matches on Saturday, the first day of the Bard Round Robin.

The Raptors (3-1) started the day with a 9-0 sweep of Colgate. Theo Webb, Artun Ak, Noah Gichan, Martin Graham, Lukas Roscoe, Alex Luscher and Layl Andary all won in straight sets. Devon Wall and John Michael Richards each lost their first set, then rolled to 3-1 victories.

Against Lafayette, every match was a three-game sweep. Perhaps most dominant on the day was Luscher at No. 7. He defeated Scott Thompson of Colgate 11-7, 11-1 and 11-1; then he beat Arslan Asad of Lafayette 11-2, 11-1 and 11-1.

The Round Robin continues on Sunday. The Raptors will play Swarthmore at 8:30 a.m.
