CANTON, N.Y. - The Bard College men's soccer team lost to St. Lawrence University, 2-0, in a Liberty League game on Friday.
The Saints (8-2-2 overall, 4-1-1 Liberty League) scored once in each half, and outshot Bard 23-3 in the game.
Bard (3-9-1, 0-5-0) was under pressure from the start, as the Saints produced five corners and eight shots in the first 30 minutes, but the Raptors hung tough. St. Lawrence broke through in the 34th minute, though, when Charlton Kelly (Toronto, ONT) tapped in a cross from Brendan McNamee (Newton, NJ).
McNamee scored the only goal of the second half in the 51st minute. Mike Smith (Syracuse, NY) made one save.
