ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - The Bard College men's squash team finished off a perfect weekend with victories over Penn State and Colgate on Sunday, the final day of the Bard Round Robin.

The Raptors went 4-0 over the last two days to improve to 5-2 overall.

Bard began the day with a 7-2 victory over Penn State, as the Raptors won at the first seven positions. Rhys Nordstrom, Ayateru Maeda and Julian Dime swept at Nos. 1, 2 and 3, respectively. Pranjal Ghate and Vikramaditya Joshi won four-setters at Nos. 4 and 5; Theo Webb swept his opponent at No. 6, and Artun Ak rallied from 2-1 down to prevail, 3-2, at No. 7.

Bard then made short work of Colgate, sweeping the match 9-0 without yielding a game.

The opposition will get much tougher next weekend, when the Raptors travel to play Tufts and Boston College at Tufts.

"It was a good weekend," Bard coach Craig Thorpe-Clark said. "It's the continuation of what has been a pretty solid start to the season."
