NORTHHAMPTON, MA - The Bard College women's squash team lost both of its matches Saturday afternoon, falling to the University of Rochester, 6-3, and Smith College, 7-2.
The three games Bard won against Rochester marked an improvement for the team, as the Raptors were only able to win two games the last time the teams met back in November. The three games won also set a career-high for the program, which just began this season.
Bard's #1,
Francesca Keller and #2,Â
Francesca Cornali, won both games they played today, while
Olivia Terzian won in the #3 spot against Rochester.
"Good start for the day with three wins at the top of the line-up, Terzian's first match was a great win for her, it was a match that was quite competitive." said coach
Craig Thorpe-Clark.
The Raptors return to action, January 29th, as they continue the Smith College Round Robin. Bard will take on the University of Minnesota and New York University, starting at 8:00 a.m. Saturday's results are below.
