SCHENECTADY, N.Y. - The Bard College women's basketball team lost to Union College, 69-24, in a Liberty League game on Friday night.
Bard fell to 0-14 overall, 0-6 in the Liberty League. Union evened its record at 7-7, 3-3.
The Dutchwomen got off to a fast start, outscoring Bard 17-5 in the first quarter. It was 32-12 at halftime. Union had a 23-14 rebounding advantage at the break, including nine offensive boards and 11 second-chance points.
Senior Natalie Leone (Ashland, MA) led Union with 10 points. Nicole Conley (Scotia, NY) added nine points and five rebounds.
Bard got eight points from freshman
Caleigh DeCaprio;
Jade Waring led the Raptors with seven rebounds.
