ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - The Bard College women's basketball team lost its 2015-16 finale, 65-49, to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in a Liberty League game on Friday night.

Bard finishes the season at 5-20 overall, 0-16 in the Liberty League. RPI is 8-16, 4-11.

RPI jumped out to a 23-6 first quarter lead and never looked back. Bard cut it to eight in the second quarter, but the deficit was 11 at halftime, and it grew to 19 in the second half. The Raptors were never able to get to within single digits after halftime.

RPI was led by freshman Sam Krumbhaar (Glen Burnie, MD), who had 16 points.

It was the final game in the careers of seniors Bianka Bell and Tytravia Riley. Bell, who scored 13 points, will leave Bard as the second-leading scorer in program history with 1,141 points. She scored more than 700 of those points in her final two seasons.
